Public Order Act 1986.

In Blacktivism Black.  For those who have experienced the threat of the Public Order Act during street activism.

Police Officers don't really have any grounds to shut down a cube or display of graphic footage but some will quote "section 5 public order" when they actually mean Section 5 (1) (b) of the Public Order Act 1986.  However, the problem is, even displaying the graphic footage doesn't fall within this sub paragraph of the aforementioned legislation because it is not a threatening or abusive writing, sign or visual representation.

The BACK of the T-Shirt displays the actual text from the legislation.
The FRONT of the T-Shirt explains to the Police Officer that what you are doing is legal, non-threatening, non-abusive, non-violent and peaceful.

If approached by Police, remain calm, polite, professional, respectful and understanding.  Then you can continue without any legal implications.

You are not obliged to provide your details, it is your choice whether you do or not, the T-Shirt says all you need to say.  That's not to say anyone should be unreasonable to a member of the Police Force, because we may need their support at a later date at a vigil, demo, march, protest, outreach, street activism, etc so it's important to realise they are protecting a broken system and may not necessarily privately agree with it.  They are human too, some are vegan, some pre-vegan, some support the industry.  Either way, remain peaceful, do not swear, and if necessary, politely decline to discuss any further and thank them for their time.
